About the event

Sleep can be a challenge for many neurodivergent children and young people. Whether your child is Autistic, has Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, or another neurodivergent difference, they may experience sleep differently from their peers.

In this workshop, we will explore some of the common reasons why sleep can be difficult and look at the sleep challenges many families face. We will discuss practical ideas and strategies that may help your child get the rest they need, while also supporting your own wellbeing.

Together, we will look at:
Why sleep can be more difficult for neurodivergent young people.
Common sleep differences and challenges.
Practical strategies to support better sleep.
Ways to support your child when sleep is affecting daily life.
Looking after yourself when everyone is tired.

This compassionate workshop aims to help you better understand your child’s sleep needs and leave with ideas you can try at home to support the whole family.
