Is your child finding it difficult to attend school due to distress, anxiety or overwhelming emotions? You are not alone.

This introductory workshop is designed for parent carers who want to better understand Emotionally Based School Avoidance (ebsa) and learn practical ways to support their child.

Through a compassionate and non-judgemental approach, we will explore why school attendance can become difficult for some children and young people and how families can work alongside schools to create positive, supportive solutions.

The workshop acknowledges that attendance difficulties are often complex and influenced by a combination of factors within the child, the school environment and life at home. Together, we will explore approaches that focus on understanding rather than blame and helping children feel safe, supported, and able to thrive.
