About the event

F you have more than one neurodivergent child, you’ve probably experienced moments when their needs conflict. One child may seek noise, movement, and activity, while another needs quiet, space, and predictability. Family outings, mealtimes, holidays, and even everyday routines can become a source of stress as you try to meet everyone’s needs.

This practical and relatable workshop explores what happens when sibling needs collide and how parents can navigate these challenges without feeling that one child’s needs must always come second. Together, we will look at the reasons behind common family flashpoints and explore realistic approaches that reduce conflict, build understanding, and promote a calmer family life.

This workshop will explore:
Why sibling needs can sometimes conflict.
How to identify common flashpoints that lead to tension.
Real-life scenarios and practical problem-solving approaches.
