Withywood Community Interest Company Open day

About the event

We are hosting a friendly Open day for young adults with special educational needs and disabilities (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) who are currently in education and preparing to transition into adult social care this academic year.

This is a relaxed opportunity to visit Withywood, explore the gardens and get a feel for our calm, supportive environment. Visitors will be able to take part in a range of taster activities such as gardening, nature-based crafts, and simple outdoor tasks, as well as meet the team and have informal chats about what we offer.

Families, carers, and professionals are all welcome to come along, ask questions, and see if Withywood feels like the right next step. We hope the day will help young people feel confident and excited about joining us for activities from September.
