Description
Chard Reservoir Local Nature Reserve consists of wildflower meadows and woodland edge surrounding the expanse of open water with spectacular scenery. A fantastic site for bird watching and walking. There is also a small children’s woodland play area.

- Access:No access issues or restrictions. Road to Oaklands Avenue goes through a residential area and road to Anglers Car Park goes along a narrow unmarked road with passing places.
- Access:The Nature Reserve is available on most days throughout the year. There may be restrictions on some footpaths or areas when rangers are undertaking work or there are events on. Please check in advance.
- Noise:None
- Parking:The main one (Oaklands car park) is at Oaklands Avenue (TA20 1HU) and open 24/7. The secondary car park (Anglers car park), with priority parking for anglers is on Chaffcombe Road (TA20 1RR) and is open from 8am to 5pm.
- Parking details:General Public and free to use. Owned by Somerset Council.
