Description

A modern wing built adjacent to a 16th Century Manor House, the “Hyde” is a RIBA award-winning residential conference facility built in 2009. It’s a wooden clad and black-stained contemporary form that sits above the historic walled garden with views and a back-drop across the Somerset levels.

Internally there are modern conference meeting rooms and 16 bedrooms. Externally there is a courtyard and jet black reflective pond, but wider grounds including an orchard, historic walled garden and the gardens of Dillington House itself.

Dillington House is a Manor house remodelled in the ‘Jacobethan’ style and Grade 2* listed status.

The wider 3,000 acre estate has an idyllic setting featuring parkland, farmland and woodland, a modern dairy, stone farm buildings that have been tastefully converted into offices and other historic thatched cottages and farms.
