Access Located on RNAS Yeovilton in easy reach of the A303. All roads to the museum are public owned. Deliveries will need to fit through the ground level access gate (940mm wide). We have several access points so please advise us if equipment is large or will not fit through standard doors.
Access restrictions The Fleet Air Arm Museum offers a vast and unique location for commercial filming and photography. We are flexible, but it does depend on the day/time. There will be costs for filming depending on when you would like to come. An events team is available to assist with requests and filming will be supervised.
Noise The museum is located on an active and working naval station. There can be the sound of aircraft during filming. Depending on the day of filming, members of the public will be in the building, including school groups.
Parking 230 cars tarmac and 8 coach spaces on tarmac. 20 cars on grass.
Parking detail Parking is next to the museum on our property. It’s free to use and open to visitors. There is a short walk into the museum, but trolleys will need to be used when transporting equipment. Parking can be arranged airside under exceptional circumstances.
