Description

A 17-acre site on a stunning Exmoor hillside with no other buildings in sight, situated 2 miles from Dunkery Beacon the highest point on Exmoor. It comprises of an 18th century farmhouse with an L-shaped complex of barns converted into six holiday cottages sleeping 22 people approached via a long driveway. There is an additional stone events barn, plus a large workshop/garage and six wooden stables. There are five fields, two copses, two ponds, various natural streams and ornamental gardens. The fields are mostly surrounded by traditional mounded beech hedgerows. The buildings are down a ¼ mile driveway and the whole site is on a slope – there is access for vehicles up to 26 ton (not articulated). There are no roads in sight of the property, and only one powerline crossing the site north to south. The fields are grass and accessible by tractor/4×4, some have power hookups and water supply. There is a public footpath crossing one of the fields and across the boundary of another two. There is livestock in the fields, but can be moved.
