Description
A stretch of gorge located near to Wookey Hole. Gravel path leading through and then out on to open farmland at one end. Frequented by rock climbers.

- Access:Gorge is accessed via a paved lane – Lime Kiln Lane - and then a gravel path. The end of the gorge with vehicle access is gated and has large boulders to avoid illegal incursions. These can be temporarily moved on request. There is no public right of way through the gorge though it well used by walkers so advanced notice of any disruption and signage required. Neighbouring footpath and bridleway need to be kept passable.
- Access:In theory none, but to be agreed on discussion with advanced notice of disruption.
- Noise:Rural location so none/negligible.
- Parking:Parking for approx a dozen vehicle could be possible along the paved access road. This would need discussion.
- Parking details:The paved access road on which parking may be possible is Somerset Council property.
