Description

Strode Theatre is a part of Strode College in Street, near Glastonbury. It is equipped as both theatre and cinema, incorporating two venues. The main Theatre has 343 seats and a proscenium arch stage. The Studio has 64 seats in a retractable unit and is used for film screenings and for classes and rehearsals. The foyer and bar area is home to changing exhibitions of work by local and regional artists, as well as exhibits from past shows.

We provide spaces for meeting, rehearsing, performing, and exhibiting. There are varied spaces suitable for filming, and lighting, sound, audio visual equipment can be arranged with the theatre in advance.
