The personal data you provide is used to enable the council to make payments to you and to make agreed deductions from your salary (such as pensions, sick pay, maternity pay, trade union subscriptions, salary sacrifice and so on)

Exercising obligations and specific rights of the controller in the field of employment law.

Who the data might be shared with

  • Capita HR Services (Data processor up to 31/03/2020)
  • Sedgemoor District Council (Data Processor from 01/04/2020)
  • Peninsula Pensions
  • Gemelli (employee benefits and salary sacrifice provider)

Data is also shared for the prevention and detection of crime, including fraud via the National Fraud Initiative.

How long will the data be kept for

6 years after the end of employment.
