Purpose of the processing:

The personal data you have been asked to provide will be used to register your interest in speaking at a public meeting. Your contact information will be retained until the date of the following meeting of the Board or Committee at which you have asked to speak, and your name will be recorded in the minutes of the meeting. The minutes are bound and held by the council indefinitely.

In addition, the council makes an audio recording of committee meetings and/or a video recording of virtual meetings held on Teams, which will include your contribution to the meeting. Video recordings will be stored and made available on the council’s website for 150 days after the meeting, and for 6 years at the council.

Who the data might be shared with

The minutes and video recordings of meetings are publicly available.

How long will the data be kept for

Your contact information will be retained until the date of the meeting of the Board or Committee at which you have asked to speak, and your name will be recorded in the minutes of the meeting.

The minutes are bound and held by the council indefinitely.

Audio and video recordings are stored by the council for 6 years.
