- Fixed Term Contract until March 2026.
- Full time, 37 hours per week.
- You will be based in County Hall in Taunton, but some travel around the county will be required. You will also be able to work from home.
- 33 days annual leave, plus bank holidays.
What will I be doing?
We’re working to improve the lives of people in Somerset – and you’ll be a key part of that. Your day-to-day work will involve:
Ensuring there are a suitable range of service in Somerset offering good quality, value for money services to support the customer/ service user to achieve their desired outcomes.
Provide direction and leadership for the delivery and implementation of the displaced people programmes.
Ensure the service delivered is flexible to meet the changing demands of national and local programmes.
Manage and motivate the Displaced People Team to ensure the skills and capacity are in place to deliver the programmes of work.
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
We offer ongoing support, training and guidance to help you be the best you can be. But it will really help if you have:
Leadership skills and the ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team.
Significant commissioning experience across the commissioning cycle.
A track record of working with complex populations and management of multi-agency programmes to support complex populations
Significant experience of working successfully with Members and Directors on complex issues and the development of strategic direction.
Experience of partnership working, including the ability to influence and, where required, lead multi-agency projects and initiatives
