The Role

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be at the heart of our most ambitious transformation initiatives. You will bridge the gap between vision and reality—working closely with stakeholders, users, and technical teams to design smart, data-driven solutions and service delivery that improve lives across Somerset.

What You Bring

  • A sharp analytical mind and a passion for problem-solving

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

  • Experienced Business Analyst: Proven experience in delivering business analysis in complex environments over 5+ years. You can demonstrate you can influence change, challenging requirements, and optimise business processes to an Agile framework.
  • Innovative Thinking: Track record of delivering innovative, business and user-focused solutions with measurable outcomes.
  • Delivering Outcomes: Proven experience delivering impactful business analysis outcomes in complex, multidisciplinary environments.
  • Agile Project Management or Business Analysis qualifications: a proven track record in a leadership role within an educational setting.
  • Coaching and Mentoring: experience in helping Business Analysts achieve best practice through coaching, mentoring, or managing.
  • Collaborative mindset: experience of working effectively with others, external agencies, and key stakeholders to achieve shared goals using various techniques including collaborative workshops.
  • Decision Making Influence: A proven ability to influence decision-making within an organisation and offer appropriate challenge in a variety of contexts.
  • Relevant qualifications: a degree or equivalent professional experience that demonstrates your expertise and dedication. Certification or Professional Qualification in business analysis, agile project management or related field.
