Occupational Therapist - Team Manager

• Full time permanent for 37 hours per week

We’re working to improve the lives of people in Somerset – and you’ll be a key part of that. Your day-to-day work will involve:

• Ensure the effective and efficient delivery of evidence based clinical care.
• Ensure the service is delivered in partnership with children, young people and their families/carers
• Support implementation of the Local Authority’s service plan through collaborative working with leaders across Children’s Social Care.
• Provide supervision and support to clinicians, understand and follow HR policies and procedures, ensure staff wellbeing and development and adopt a collaborative approach to engage staff.

We offer ongoing support, training and guidance to help you be the best you can be. But it will really help if you:

• A professional qualification at degree level or equivalent eg Occupational Therapy.
• Professional registration/accreditation with a recognised body eg HCPC
• Experience of supervision and/or leadership skills
• Evidence of relevant CPD.
