- The role will be predominantly home working, however hybrid working is expected, with the usual office base being Taunton, although travel around the county may be occasionally required.
- 28 days’ annual leave.
- Opportunity for further learning is available to develop skills for delivery of this statutory process.
- 37 hours per week. 2 year fixed term, with the possibility of extension.
What will I be doing?
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Community Safety Team, specifically supporting the delivery of statutory reviews, primarily the domestic homicide reviews programme.
Your day-to-day work will involve:
- Being a key part of a team focused on helping to keep Somerset’s communities safe.
- Co-ordinating multiple statutory reviews at varying stages, so requiring excellent organisational skills.
- Liaison with multi-agency partner organisations both statutory and voluntary, not only within Somerset but also across the country as required.
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
We offer ongoing support, training and guidance to help you be the best you can be. But it will really help if you:
- Have education to degree or equivalent level of experience.
- Have experience of handling sensitive and complex information.
- Have excellent administrative skills.
- Have awareness of domestic abuse and knowledge of the domestic homicide review process.
