What will I be doing?

As a Parking Enforcement Manager, you will oversee the effective management and enforcement of parking regulations within Somerset. This role is crucial to ensuring the smooth operation of parking services, enhancing compliance, and improve the overall parking experience for residents and visitors,

  • Developing and implementing parking policies and strategies.
  • Managing and supervising a team of office-based parking enforcement officers.
  • Monitoring and reporting on the performance of the parking service.
  • Handling complaints and disputes related to parking enforcement.
  • Overseeing the maintenance and improvement of parking facilities.
  • Engaging with the community to address parking concerns and improve services.

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

We offer ongoing support, training and guidance to help you be the best you can be. But it will really help if you have:

  • A level or equivalent in a relevant field such as parking enforcement or team management.
  • Extensive knowledge and practical experience in parking regulations and enforcement procedures, as well as familiarity with related legislation and guidelines.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to develop and implement policies and strategies.
