Whether you’ve had a recent health diagnosis, managing a long-term health condition, or caring for someone else, it can be difficult to find different information and support services available online.

Somerset Libraries are working in collaboration with Musgrove Park Hospital and Yeovil District Hospital to support you in accessing reliable up-to-date information.

We offer free iPad loans for up to 6 weeks, from Taunton and Yeovil libraries for those who need it to access health and wellbeing services. This includes a data package so that you can access the internet without needing Wi-Fi. To borrow a device simply pop into the library or email them

The Somerset Apps Library is a one-stop shop for accessing apps to manage your health needs. All the apps have been reviewed and approved by health professionals, and you can easily find the right app for you through their search bar. It is available through The Organisation for the Review of Care and Health Apps website.
