Comic Relief funded free training to support Early Years Practitioners confidence to support children with SEND in their setting.

Just imagine this, we (EY practitioners, managers, SENCo’s, Teachers) are all sitting together in a large room. We are all sitting together because collectively we know we can do more to support our SEND learners.

Ann Van Dyke, Freelance consultant whose aim is to bring about personal change and importantly is a Dingley’s Promise Change maker, stands and asks you 4 questions:

  1. Are you concerned about being able to support children with SEND?
  2. Do you want to be an inclusive setting?
  3. Have you done EVERYTHING you can?
  4. Can you log onto the training now?

If you are concerned about supporting children with SEND and you want to be an inclusive setting but you have capacity to do more or your EY team have capacity to do more, then now is the time.

(Questions are from Ann Van Dyke training delivered to EY SEND service in February 2024)
