A day of inspiration, connection, and inclusion is coming to Somerset this summer, as Somerset Parent Carer Forum, together with local organisations, hosts a special event dedicated to celebrating and empowering neurodiverse individuals and their families.

The event, titled Empowering Neurodiversity in Somerset, will take place on Tuesday 24th June 2025 at the Taunton Racecourse Conference Centre, running from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Designed for parents, carers, professionals, and the wider community, the event will offer a packed programme of talks, workshops, and drop-in clinics, aimed at raising awareness and providing practical support.

Highlights of the day include:

  • Interactive workshops tailored to different needs and interests
  • Talks from inspiring speakers with personal and professional insights
  • Drop-in clinics with the Children and Young People’s Neurodevelopmental Partnership team

Tickets are available for just £5, which includes refreshments and a buffet lunch. The ticket fee will be refunded via a voucher after you attend.

In addition, local services and professionals are invited to host information stands for just £10, which includes lunch for two staff members. Additional attendees should book separately.

The event aims to create a safe, inclusive space where families and individuals can feel seen, heard, and supported.
