Providers running inclusive activities for children and young people with a disability or additional need can apply for grant funding to offer sessions during school holidays or as term‑time clubs.
Activities must be open to children and young people with SEND living in Somerset and can run from a few hours to a full day.
Funding applications for the summer holidays open between 27 April and 25 May. Applications are reviewed by a multi‑agency panel (including parent carer and young people representatives), with a focus on accessibility, value for money and providing a good mix of activities across the county.
Funded activities are promoted through the Somerset SEND Local Offer so families can easily see what’s available.
