The government is seeking public input on amendments to the statutory guidance found in the Working Together to Safeguard Children documents.
This consultation, is accessible through-
It invites participants to assess the current guidelines for safeguarding children and families. It also seeks opinions on collaborative efforts and information sharing among organisations, the role of education in safeguarding, and proposed changes in the support provided to families.
The consultation period commenced on June 21, 2023, and will conclude on September 6. All individuals, including children in care, care leavers, families, and staff from local authorities and schools, are encouraged to contribute.
