The Council has appointed Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) as a Law of Property Act (LPA) receiver in respect of the farmland linked to the project. The Council holds a legal charge over the land, and appointing an LPA receiver allows the land to be placed under independent management.
The role of the LPA receiver is to take control of the land, make sure it is properly managed and protected, and to safeguard its value to protect the Council’s position and public investment.
