Somerset Council has launched a 3-week consultation as part of a review of domestic abuse support across the county.
The Council wants to hear from people who have experienced domestic abuse, including those who have used the Somerset Domestic Abuse Service, as well as friends, family members, professionals and others who have supported someone to seek help.
Their views will help the Council understand what is working well, what could be improved and what support people may need in the future.
Cllr Federica Smith-Roberts, Lead Member for Communities, Environment and Climate Change, said:
People with lived experience of domestic abuse, and those who have supported someone, have valuable insight into what good support looks like.
Their voices can help us learn, improve and shape services that better meet people’s needs.
I would encourage anyone who feels able to take part and share their views.
Residents are asked not to include any personal information, such as names, when sharing their views.
The consultation is open until Friday 27 November.
