Notice of Public Inquiry
Public Inquiry relating to the Somerset Planning South (former South Somerset District Council) for Outline planning application with all matters reserved except for access, for the erection of up to 252 dwellings, public open space (including community orchard and village green), woodland planting, ecological buffers, sustainable drainage systems, a biodiverse wetland habitat and other ancillary works.
An Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State will hold an Inquiry opening at 10am on the on Tuesday, 23 January 2024 to decide the appeal.

The Inquiry is expected to sit for 4 consecutive days from Tuesday, 23rd January 2024 to Friday, 26 January 2024.
An Inspector appointed by the Department of Communities and Local Government under paragraph 1 (i) of schedule 6 to the Town & Country Planning Act 1990 will preside. You may attend the Public Inquiry virtually if you so wish and, at the Inspector’s discretion, will be allowed to present any views that you have on the matter.
