Introduction
The Statement of Community Involvement explains how we will engage local communities and other interested parties in producing our Local Plan and determining planning applications.
Before the creation of Somerset Council in April 2023, the former County Council and District Councils consulted on the draft Statement of Community Involvement between 1 February and 16 March 2023.
The Somerset Statement of Community Involvement was adopted on 4 October 2023.
