Please note the following when you submit your comments:
- You should submit any comments online within the 21-day consultation period. You can still comment online after the consultation period has expired and until a decision is made. However, we recommend you do so as soon as possible because a decision can be made at any time after the expiry of the consultation period.
- The first time you submit comments online, you will be asked to create an account with a log in name and password. This makes sure that the comments you make go directly to the Planning Case Officer. This means they can be checked, uploaded and published online quickly. You will receive re-consultation, Planning Committee and Appeal Notifications if applicable. You can also set up notifications or track an application.
- The comments that are submitted will not be viewable to the public until the content has been checked. We try to publish comments within 5 working days of receipt. Do not make comments that are offensive, abusive or malicious as they may not be published.
- Please make sure that you only provide information (including personal information) that belongs to you and where you are happy that it will be made available to others. Do not include personal contact details such as email addresses, postal addresses and phone numbers.
- You cannot comment on applications for Discharge of Condition, Legal Obligation or Non-Material Amendment (reference numbers ending APP, S106 and NMA).
- Please do not include links to external websites or sources in your comments. Please keep comments concise and related to planning matters (see ‘How to comment on a planning application’ below).
- For help using the online system to view applications or submit comments, please phone 01749 341588 (please note that we cannot accept comments over the phone).
