Car park National Parking Platform service

The National Parking Platform makes it simple for drivers to use their preferred app in more places.

National Parking Platform

The National Parking Platform (NPP) makes paying for parking easier and more flexible by giving residents and visitors a choice of trusted parking apps at participating pay and display car parks.

How it works

The NPP is not a parking app. It is a shared system that connects approved apps to the same parking location. This means you can use an app you already have instead of downloading a different one whenever you visit a new area.

To book parking, open your preferred approved parking app and enter the location code shown at the car park and on street locations, as you normally would.
