Description
Somerset Progressive School is an independent, approved, special school that provides individually tailored packages of education for boys and girls from the ages of 7 – 19. As an approved independent special school its details are published on the Section 41 Secretary of State Approved List.
All of our pupils have an Educational Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and require more specialised interventions than can be provided in a mainstream setting. Many of our pupils have been diagnosed with Autism. We also have a wealth of experience and expertise in cognition and learning and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH).
The school has two sites. One near Taunton (West Hatch) and the other is near Langport (Hambridge).
