Description
Inspired is a consortium of four award-winning arts producers and promoters in Somerset. They work in partnership with Somerset Council.
They provide an arts education network to schools giving access to:
- Skills development in dance, drama, creative IT and visual arts
- CPD and training
- Advice and support
- Resources such as case studies, education guides and enrichment activity ideas
- Networking events
And give children and young people access to:
- High profile artist-led residencies and community projects
- Quality assured arts experiences
- Celebratory event and platforms
The visual and performing arts contributes to:
- Raising achievement
- Building emotional health and well-being
- Developing life skills
- Supporting transition and progression
- Inspiring creative writing
- Improving attendance
- Engaging parents
- Ensuring all children reach their potential
