Description

Open to any child or young person (primary age to A-level) whose family wishes to arrange tutoring. No referral or assessment is required. Support can be adapted for students with special educational needs and disabilities.

Core Tuition provides one-to-one and small-group online tutoring for primary, secondary, GCSE and A-level students in Maths, English and Science, helping children catch up, get ahead or build confidence. Lessons take place in secure online classrooms with live video chat and an interactive whiteboard — no downloads needed, just a device with a webcam and internet connection. Tutors are UK-based, DBS checked, and have up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum and exam boards. Many tutors also support students with SEND, and several have experience helping home-educated students through their GCSE years.

To access the service, browse tutor profiles at coretuition.co.uk/tutors and message your chosen tutor to arrange a free 30-minute consultation. Lessons are offered flexibly, pay-as-you-go with no long-term commitment. Each tutor sets their own hourly rate (shown on their profile); credit is added to your account in advance and paid to the tutor once a lesson is completed. Small-group sessions for two or three students can also be arranged directly with a tutor.
