Escape Support Group aims to provide support to families in Somerset raising children who have disabilities or additional needs, through providing a wide range of fun activities, days out and occasional short break holidays. Our events boost morale, increase confidence, improve social skills as well as develop and strengthen friendships.
Escape operates on a membership basis, where members pay a small annual fee which enables them access to the activities and trips that we provide. We aim to subside all trips by 50%.
Escape’s monthly club – The Hub Club – is funded by Children In Need. It is free to attend and runs once a month on a Saturday from 2pm to 4pm, see the Escape Support group website or social media for dates.
Fortnightly swim sessions for the whole family, with exclusive use, are available at Taunton Pool.
