We are a day service for adults (18+) with profound, multiple disabilities (PMLD). Our key focus is on learning and development, but ensure that every person we support has excellent care and support, and have a  rich, rewarding experience every day that they are with us. We currently support around 45 people across 4 Somerset bases – our main base being at Hestercombe Gardens. Given the needs of the people we support, we work on a minimum of a one-to-one basis, and each member of the Reflect teams share the same passion for making sure they make a difference to people’s lives, every day.

We support people with a full range of personal and eating/drinking needs (including PEG), epilepsy and a range of associated health needs. We are specialised in the delivery of Intensive Interaction, support the implementation of physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy programmes, and ensure that people develop and maintain their communication, mobility, flexibility and overall physical and  emotional wellbeing. One of our bases is set up for the provision of Rebound, and another accesses an existing Rebound centre. We can enable people to spend time out of their wheelchairs, use standing and walking frames, and for those people we support who can walk, to get out and about in the countryside and town.

We pride ourselves on building very close working relationships with the families and carers of the people we support, as well as with a range of community organisations. These include the Bristol Bears Community Foundation, the Frozen Light theatre group and the Somerset Wildlife Trust and SENSE, amongst many others. We are open from Monday to Friday, 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m., although have started offering a Saturday service at our Hestercombe base.
