I CAN is the leading charity for children and young people ‘s speech, language and communication. We provide effective, practical evidence-based solutions that change the lives of children and young people with communication difficulties and support all children’s communication development.
If you have any questions about a child’s communication development contact the I CAN Help Enquiry Service. This is a confidential phone service  from an I CAN speech and language therapist.  Call 02078 432544 to speak to one of our speech and language therapists for advice, support and signposting to resources and other services.
The Talking Point website (www.talkingpoint.org.uk) provides information about supporting children’s speech and language development. It includes a progress checker to check a child’s progress against what is expected for their age and includes a database of resources and a searchable map of local services.
