Hi, my name is Jill and I am a self employed personal assistant. I live in West Huntspill near Burnham on Sea and I have two grown up children. I am nurse trained and have a Diploma in Health and Social Care level 5 and I have worked in both the NHS and Somerset Council for most of my working life.My experience includes: working with adults and children with learning disabilities, older people with dementia, people with mobility problems, MS, MND, COPD, cancer, strokes and life limiting illnesses. I have a wealth of experience in the health and social care sector and can provide you with a high standard of person centred care and support to meet your needs.I can offer you or your loved one care and support in the community or within your own home. This care includes: personal care, end of life care, support with outings and appointments, communication support, shopping, light housework, sitting service, companionship, preparation of light meals and respite.I have recent training in food hygiene, moving and handling, first aid, and I have an up to date enhanced DBS check, public liability insurance and business use on my car. I can work most weekends and weekdays.
