Super Saturdays are small-group weekend activity sessions for neurodivergent and SEND young people who benefit from a calmer environment, smaller groups and a little extra understanding.
Run by Rama Life CIC in South Petherton, South Somerset, Super Saturdays offer fun, interest-based activities in groups of up to 8 young people.
Sessions vary and include activities such as Lego, arts and crafts, cooking, music, outdoor activities, games and themed workshops. Our focus is on creating a friendly, welcoming environment where young people can enjoy activities, meet others, build confidence and take part in ways that work for them.
Super Saturdays may particularly suit young people with SEND, neurodivergence, anxiety or low confidence who can find larger, busier or more traditional activities difficult to access.
Super Saturdays are currently funded by The National Lottery and will run until February 2027.
Accessing Super Saturdays
Sessions can be booked online through Rama Life. Each session has its own age range, timings and activity information, so families can choose those most suited to their young person.
Super Saturdays are designed for young people who can take part safely within a small-group environment without constant 1:1 support. We also have family sessions which can cater for young people who need a parent or carer with them.
Families are encouraged to contact us before booking if their young person has significant support, medical or supervision needs, or if they are unsure whether a session will be suitable.
Thanks to National Lottery funding, places are currently available for £5 per young person, with free funded places available for families experiencing financial hardship.
Sessions take place at our rural Rama Life site in South Somerset.
