Description
Wheelchair accessible boat trips available to hire by the hour. Minimum one hour, maximum three hours.
This is a specially adapted wheelchair accessible boat. We can carry up to four chair users, or a maximum of 10 passengers depending on size and weight of wheelchair). This comes with a skipper, and those with upper mobility are able to have a go at driving with our unique helm position.
We are an accredited training centre for the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) and British Canoeing.
We run special courses for young people which include water safety and awareness, knot tying, boat maintenance, boat driving and handling. In addition we offer training for on water activity with paddleboards,
canoes, rowing boats and kayaks. supported by a highly skilled and competent team with educational backgrounds.
We deliver this in a peaceful waterside location working with nature and the environment to enhance young peoples well being and mental health. We work with Children, Young People and Adults who are overcoming isolation, exclusion, social/ emotional difficulties, anxieties or have been diagnosed as having a SEND requirement.
