Somerset Dyslexia AssociationCognition and learning, Information and advice
The Somerset Dyslexia Association is run entirely by volunteers, working from their own homes. We aim to be a source of information and practical support to anyone who has dyslexia and to raise public awareness and understanding of dyslexia.
We run two conferences a year for those who support anyone with dyslexia for example teachers or parents. Committee members run a parent support group and adult support group as best they can, usually by phone at the moment.
Membership is ¬£14 for direct debit payments, or ¬£15 by cheque annually. Members have free access to our resources, discounted tickets to our conferences, and ‘Contact’ magazine from the British Dyslexia Association three times a year.
The SDA is a registered charity No.289263. It is affiliated to the British Dyslexia Association.
