Description
Outreach support is provided by Somerset special schools to their local mainstream schools. It aims to build capacity and support further development to meet the needs for learners who have special educational needs.
Our offer responds to local need and includes:
- Modelling of teaching and learning
- Observing pupils and giving feedback
- Direct Intervention/Support in school or training
- Visits to specialist setting to observe strategies and approaches in practise – in-reach
- Joint planning
In-reach discussion opportunity also available on Thursdays from 1:15-3:15 through TEAMS to discuss any pupil you need advice to support with the outreach teacher.
