Description
Stand Against Violence (SAV) is a registered charity that works with young people to prevent youth violence.
We deliver violence prevention workshops suited to life skills and safety awareness education, to schools and other organisations across the West Country, South Wales, London, Staffordshire, Essex and areas of the South East.
Why?
SAV was set up in 2005 following the tragic murder of 17 year old Lloyd Fouracre, and our work is focused on preventing future tragedies such as this. The workshops we deliver equip and inform young people on how to stay safe and Stand Against Violence.
How?
Donations and support helps us deliver anti-violence workshops, self-defence and vital first aid lessons in schools and youth organisations. They also help us to develop new and innovative educational resources combating violence in our communities.
Type of provision
Universal - This is for everyone, including people with special educational needs and disabilities
