Description
The Lodge is a small home run by Somerset Council offering a supportive, caring, and safe environment for children and young people aged 0-18 years. We provide daycare, overnight short breaks, shared care and, where appropriate, permanent accommodation for children who have complex health needs, physical disabilities, learning difficulties and sensory impairments.
At The Lodge our ambition is to support children to flourish and be the best they can be. We create meaningful opportunities, fun experiences and memories for the children we support in an environment that caters to their individual needs and preferences.
For a child to stay at The Lodge, a social worker needs to complete an assessment identifying the need for short break overnights.
