Umbrella – Young Somerset
Information, advice and guidance, Leisure, Life skills
Description
A safe space for young people to have fun, meet new people and try new things by attending one of our youth groups. In Taunton, Bridgwater, Street and Wellington.
A youth-focussed project providing a weekly safe space for young people across Somerset. Supporting young people that are experiencing social and emotional challenges and make a huge difference to their lives.
We can provide group activities on an evening and one-to-one mentoring for young people aged 13-17 for up to 6-18 months.
During your time attending the groups, we will work with you to understand what you want to change in your life and work out how we, or other services, can support you to make your own informed decisions for change.
The activities provided will ideally be guided by you and the other young people in the group, and we can develop projects together during your time with the service.
If you are interested in our service, please speak to your trusted adult at school, or within the Family Intervention Service so they can complete a referral.
