Voyage Care
Cognition and learning, Housing, Life skills, Respite and short breaks, Sensory and/or physical needs
Description
We support people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries and other complex needs, both at home and in the community. We can provide support to meet your needs, ranging from a few hours a week to 24 hours a day. We can support you to enjoy activities of your choice and to find somewhere to live, whether that be in a house/flat by yourself, sharing with others, or in a residential home. We tailor personalised packages of care for each individual.
We work with registered social landlords to source supported living properties for individuals wishing to live in the community. Tenants hold their own tenancies and we personalise packages of care to meet all support needs.
Support needs include personal care, managing medication, support with finances, accessing the community, meal preparation, looking after your home, finding employment or education, independent living skills and specialist care.
We can offer support within existing homes or help individuals to access education, employment and the community. Personal budgets or Direct Payments may be used for such support.
We have 10 residential homes throughout Somerset, including a wildlife project. We also provide a respite service and an ABI specialist service within the area.
Type of provision
Specialist - This is for a small group of people with significant special educational needs and disabilities and their families
