Description

Withywood CIC offers welcoming, nature-based day opportunities for people with disabilities and additional needs. Sessions are from 10am–3pm and offer a calm, supportive space where people can feel safe, valued, and able to be themselves.

At Withywood, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to feel calm, capable, and connected through time spent in nature.
We spend our days outdoors, enjoying activities such as gardening, forest school-inspired sessions, arts and crafts, and seasonal wellbeing projects. Everything we do is hands-on and flexible, helping people build confidence, try new things, and enjoy being part of a small, friendly group.
Who the service is for:
Adults (18+) who may need extra support and who would benefit from a quieter, more relaxed environment. Withywood is especially suited to those who enjoy being outdoors or who may find busier, indoor settings overwhelming.
How to access the service:

Families, carers, individuals, or professionals are all welcome to get in touch directly. We always start with a friendly conversation or visit so you can see if Withywood feels like the right fit.
Participants can attend individual placements from Tuesday to Thursday, often alongside their carer or support worker. Once confidence is grown, they may be able to come on their own.  Places are limited to keep groups small and supportive.
