Berrow and Brean Beach car parking charges
We usually charge for parking on Berrow and Brean Beach between April and October. The beach gates are normally open from Easter holidays to September from 10am to 6pm and in October from 10am to 5pm.
Times may vary if there is a very high tide. Please check tide times before setting off on your journey.
Seasonal parking permit used on either Berrow or Brean
Please bring your proof of purchase to Berrow Kiosk where it will be exchanged to a Seasonal car pass and must be shown on every visit.

Burnham-on Sea jetty permit
You need a permit to launch craft from Burnham-on-Sea Jetty.
The application form has three pages and takes about five minutes to complete.
Before you apply
You will need:
- public liability insurance for your craft, with cover of at least £5 million
- a copy of your insurance document to upload
Your insurance document must clearly show your name, the level of public liability cover and the dates the insurance is valid.
You should also check the tide times for the day you plan to use the jetty. Burnham-on-Sea has a very high tidal range.

We will not give a refund if you cannot use the jetty because you did not check the tide times before your visit.
Apply for a permit
You will receive an email with a printable permit when you have completed the form.
Print the permit and display it prominently on your vehicle windscreen when you use the jetty.
You will be asked for proof of purchase before you can launch, so bring this with you.
Vehicles use the jetty at the owner’s risk. Parking on the jetty is not allowed.
Byelaws
You must follow the seashore and esplanade byelaws and the jetty conditions.
