Connect to Work programme

Connect to Work is part of the Government’s new Get Britain Working Strategy, designed to help tackle economic inactivity and support people to find and fulfil their potential.

Connect to Work is a voluntary, high‑fidelity Supported Employment programme that brings together work, health and skills support across England and Wales. It is designed for:

  • Disabled people
  • People with health conditions
  • Individuals facing complex barriers to employment

Using proven approaches such as the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model and the Supported Employment Quality Framework (SEQF), the programme focuses on helping people move into sustainable, meaningful work.

The support is tailored to each individual and may include: one‑to‑one employment coaching, help identifying your strengths and goals, support with confidence building and job readiness, connections to training, skills development and local employers, ongoing in‑work support to help you stay and thrive in employment.

If you’d like to take part or find out more, please complete our Expression of Interest form and a member of the team will be in touch.
