Overview

Hinkley Point C has set up a dedicated jobs service to help local people get jobs in the building and operational stages of the project.

A partnership between EDF Energy, Jobcentre Plus, training providers and other local support organisations, including Somerset Council, the Hinkley Point C jobs service will:

• match people to available jobs at Hinkley Point C and other local opportunities
• arrange and provide programmes to help people into work
• invest in and support dedicated local training centres providing the skills and courses employers need.
