Self Assessment May 2025
Doing a fair and honest review of what a council is good at and what it needs to get better at is a great way to plan improvements and make sure everyone is involved.
The following information represents our most recent self-assessment against the Care Quality Commission’s (CQC) assessment framework.
Self-assessment lets Local Authorities check how well they are doing. They use evidence to see what they are doing right, what problems they have, and what they need to fix. They also look at their biggest successes and challenges.
Our self-assessment will be part of the required Care Quality Commission Information Return and will be maintained and updated on a regular basis.
