Women who would find this service to be particularly relevant are: those with a history of childhood sexual abuse , domestic and sexual violence or of sex-working; women with a pattern of relapse linked to forming unhelpful relationships with men, perhaps in previous treatment episodes; or women with children who would like to make use of the Children’s Visiting Facility.

We provide women-only environments where women can recovery from addiction and move away from offending by accessing residential treatment or attending our community centres.

Many women use drug and alcohol to cope with a history of abuse and complex trauma. Our residential programme supports women to break free from destructive behaviours and thinking patterns linked to their past trauma, help women focus on their own recovery in a safe and trauma-informed environment.

  • A guided walk through the woods looking for plants, tracks and other things of interest

  • Practical activities in small groups. These vary depending on the interests of those in the group. They might include: conservation tasks to look after the woods, learning to make things from wood, weaving with willow, creating nature art.
