Introduction
You can submit a proposal for a new road improvement scheme. When you submit a proposal we will ask you to approach your local parish, town or district council to support your proposal. You will also need to submit it to us through your local County Councillor as a proposal from local community representatives.
When we receive proposals we will assess the costs and benefits against the criteria of the Local Transport Plan. We will let you know whether or not we intend to adopt your proposal.
We will respond to you within 10 working days of receipt of your initial letter and then advise you of the outcome of our assessment within 10 working days of its completion.
